Comparisons Between the Bungie Articles and Ours

Anyone else notice anything... similar between our articles and the ones Bungie has been methodically releasing over the past few months?  Truth be told, they're over weapons and vehicles that we know nothing about, so we can't really "compare" articles directly, but whenever I read one of theirs, I can't help but slightly think they got some of the ideas from us.  First, is the layout in, with the specs eventually leading into the "Description" of the object.

Then, they go into quotes from the guys from E2BAG-1/7, which, despite some gallous humor thrown in, are sometimes quite similar to our "Notes" down at the bottom of articles which chronicle, from a fictional standpoint, what "soldiers in the field" feel about the weapon or piece of equipment, sans humorous slant.

They say that "Imitation is the best form of flattery", and believe me if these articles are in any way shape or form inspired by ours I'm extremely flattered, but having Bungie staff snub us for interviews and then somehow come up with analytical articles "on their own" is sorta weird for me.  It's not like we're a small time Halo website anymore really, having been partnered with Eric Nylund, Broken Console Productions and the like (OMG Louis Wu), on top of Halo Planet wanting to host us, and being mentioned on numerous occasions by Bungie themselves.

So what I'm saying is that there's no way that they themselves never looked at the site, seeing as how you can just seach the B.net news to find topics about us.  Am I crazy and just over-analyzing the situation, or is it possible KP or whoever took the idea of analytical articles within the Halo universe, and twisted it to their own use?

Thoughts?

There are some similarities between our articles and their's, but it really doesn't matter. If they did look at the site, BUNGIE is taking inspiration from US. If they didn't, it's just a coincidence.

Anyway, they're busy people. These days, they rarely ever have interviews. And when they do, they are there to promote Halo 3. We'll get our day in the sun some day, so don't start doubting their integrity yet.

I mean, we have followed them (Loyally) this far. Why shouldn't we carry on?

Yea in fairness i found this site thru bungie (and i luv this site) but bungie are only doing those articals on weapons we have never seen or heard of before so they just fillin in some gaps haha... i'm sure when you get around to doin the artical on say the spike nade that some will be borrowed from the bungie artical (i said some as in ideas haha not ALL)

Now that said, because bungie know about this site they prolly did take the artical idea, but can ya blaim them really, its a good idea... and i do like the "soldiers in the field" thing...
It is like notes.. alot... but they did take it one step further

Yeah, they definitely put a funny spin on the "Notes" with the In the Field stories.
