Can someone please fully explain the concepts of 'mirrors' and 'local versions' to me? And where does what you would want to make copies of stuff stop, couldn't you just mirror everything you see on other sites?
Sorry, but it seems to me that these two things might be the same.
All I know is that a Mirror is hosted on a site other the one that produced the material. And a Local Version is hosted by a website.
Example of a Local Version would be if we hosted a video sent to us be someone.
Example of a Mirror would be if we saw a vid that we liked on another site and decided to host it as well.
