Next Interview

So.. I'm wondering who we should interview next, since the Nylund interview has been delayed for a while (he wants to wait so he can reveal some juicy Ghosts of Onyx details in the interview).  Below are a few ideas I had of people to interview.  Vote on which you think we should tackle first.

Note that "*'s" mean people from Bungie.

Also, if you choose "Other", specify via a Reply who you think it should be.  Note that the poll will close in four days.

I'm all hands up for Peter Jackson... But it's seems like thta would be a monolithic undertaking.

I voted for sketch. I'm tired of hearing from Frankie and the other guys are all really busy. Sketch also doesn't seem to do a whole lot of talking. Maybe you could trick him into revealing some juciy details for Halo 3.

Sketch you say? Hum... Maybe we could see what we can do about that one... but I don't think he would be dumb enough to reveal anything pertaining to H3.

PS: Are you new here? Sorry but I don't remember seeing you around here.

Yeah. I'm new here. Major Silva knows me though. I'm from the Halo2Source boards. I wrote the description for a couple entries like the Drinol on the main page also (assuming Silva ever got those posted up) as well. I popped over in the hopes of becoming a more common member and after I get my new computer I'm gonna see if I can help you guys out as far as writing details for the various Halo objects and such.

It may not be possible to get fleshed out details like we'd want for Halo 3, but I'm sure we could get sketch to talk on some details. Frankie has mentioned minor details about the different weapons, vehicles, and such, so I'm sure we could get something out of him. (I personally want to know the changes in the warthog and the Assault Rifle.)

Nothing concrete would come out of it. And if anything slipped, it would be censored by the ninjas.

Yay, DarkImpact's here!  Heh, to tell you the truth the information you provided for the Drinol has, and will not go up in the near future anytime.  I'm anxious to get authors started on articles people have submitted information to (Slimby from the HBO boards submitted something recently too), so they're not waiting a year or so to see it actually put up on the site ::cough:: 18 page Pelican article ::cough:: .  But yeah, any help you get give us would be great.  We just took on Saint, but his laptop is in for fixing, and the only way we've been able to actually talk to him is through his computer at work..  Newsposting though, is the area I feel we need a little help with.  I do my best to post things daily, but oftentimes old news has stayed up for multiple days recently.  And the other members on the Staff page just write the articles so... no help there in that regard.

But anyway, toward Sketch -- yeah, I think that's a good idea.  I had originally hoped to have our first interview with someone like Matt Hullum, or Gus, or someone similar, of Red vs Blue.  Just NOT Burnie.  He seems to always get all the press and such.  Same goes basically for Frankie.  So I think Sketch would be a great choice.

Yeah. My computer went berzerk 2 weeks ago. My powersupply blew and we though it was a bad fuse. Stupid as we are, me and Dad tried jumper cabling my powersupply. That completely melted the entire thing and now I'm working to get either a new computer or the Nintendo Wii (Which has an Internet Browser on it, so yay me.) Hopefully I'll be of some use (and be more active here and elsewhere on the net) soon.

Yeah, I've kinda been innactive on these forums, the site, and Halo 2 Source the past week (although I've been innactive on H2S for about.. three weeks).  Simply because this week was really hectic, and when I did have some time, I spent it prepping for, and contacting Louis Wu for the interview.  So I really couldn't even touch H2S.  Maybe this weekend though.  And too bad about your computer, too.

As for the Wii -- I'm kinda pissed.  I had really been wanting one, expecting the price to be around $200 or less, and then they turn around and price it at $250.  No doubt partly because they bundled it with Wii Sports; that has to jack the price up a little right there.  So, no Wii for Mii this holiday season -- only Gears of War .

I'm going to have no time over the next few months.

- Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell Double Agent

- The Holy Halo Faceplate

- Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Vegas

- Call of Duty 3

- Gears of War

- Ghosts of Onyx

- F.E.A.R

- Half-Life 2

It's great to be an Xbox 360 owner right now. Not to mention being a Halo fan.

:( Too bad my 360 is broken. I was looking forward to Mass Effect, Halo 3, and F.E.A.R the most, but I've been denied the ability to play them. Oh well. I just bought a PSP 9for storing... ehem... pictures and I'm buying a Wii at launch, so I'll still be able to entertain myself until I can buy another 360.

You may be in luck if your 360 was made before January 6th, 2006.  Microsoft released during TGS that anyone who is experience problems with 360's made before that date can send their system in, and MS will repair it/refund money/send a new one, free of charge!  So unless YOU did something to break it, you can send it in and have it fixed easily.

I'll try to find the link to the story pretty soon...
