Halo 3: Wants and Needs

I know this has been covered to the nth degree with that one Halo 3 article promoted by HBO, but I felt you guys should be able to voice your opinions as well.  SO, what do you especially want, or believe is needed to be in Halo 3 to make this the quote, "Return of the King of Halo games"?

I have my own opinion, which I'll voice later.  But first let's hear from you.

Surprises: Imagine walking through a door, only to find Fred at the other end. There were plenty in Halo 2, but we need something just as epic as the moment the screen faded, and we were holding a sword in our hands.

A Defined Tone: Halo 1 had a certain tone in every detail, it was very surreal throughout the entire game. But in Halo 2, there was no defined tone. Master Chief's levels were majestic, and the Arbiter's levels were only fairly surreal.

Hopefully, in Halo 3 there will once again be a defined feel to everything. It just makes everything so much more streamlined, which produces a better experience in my opinion.

Epic Music for an Epic Game: In Halo 1 there were far less tracks in comparison to Halo 2. To me, this made Marty compose amazing music because it would play in more than one level. Yet, at every needed moment, the music perfectly matched the gameplay.

Halo 2 had close to 40 different songs, some were great (Wage, for one), but some were awful. You just notice the great ones more often, because they aren't specialized. The fact there was no true theme just emphasizes this.

Multiple Character Models: If the previous games are any indication, we won't have to deal with more than 20 to 25 characters at any one time. I'm constantly annoyed when David Cross' talk to me at once.

I'm fine with just 20 different models, but I hate having the same Marine twice in one mission. And ODSTs should not have the same voices as the Marines, I'm just saying.

None of these will make me hate the game if they aren't included, but I would be thoroughly jolly if they were.

I want a substantial amount of customisability for replayability and depth values, playing your own music in the background of the game to replace the music that is normally played will be cool but I want more. How about custom textures? I would love to walk into a yellow room only to find that I customised the room earlier and now the walls are all black and have big, blood stains down them or something similar. Custom enemy rank colours maybe? Minor grunts will be pink in my game if they put this option in.
