24 Hours To Live -- What Would You Do?

Again inspired by a post on the Halo2Source.com forums, I decided to put this up here to help spur you guys into talking:

Imagine that either the world was going to end, or you were terminally ill, and in 24 hours would cease to exist.  What would you do during that time?  Not saying keep it TOTALLY clean, but don't post extremely disgusting or offensive stuff.

I'll post what I would do after I read some of yours.

Do whatever could possibly get me killed. Either that or allow those who wouldn't be able to live it up to do so.

I would take all of my money and live the high life. Just wouldn't care and just do what I wand to do. And then greet the end with open arms. But, thats just me.

LoneRanger: Do whatever could possibly get me killed.
You scare me.

Well, since CK, Saint, and the others don't seem to be posting, I guess I will.

I would probably tell a certain someone that I've been close to for years how I actually feel about that certain someone.  Then, I'd join some sort of anti-terrorist thing, and find some mission to go on to stop the world from getting destroyed, but I die in the process just before the 24 hour mark.  THAT would be the way to go -- saving the world.

That's definitely more honorable than mine.

By the way, I was talking about skydiving and stuff like that, not something I wouldn't do otherwise. If you know what I mean.

For me it would be the obvious... I would spent my last moments on this earth with those I love the most - My mom, dad, Kate (Girlfriend), Grandma and Pa, and my best friends.

While I like LoneRangers Idea of living free; I don't think I would want be alone skydiving or bungie-jumping. I do like Silva's idea about doing something great for the nation but realistically speaking it would be impossible to join an antiterrorist unit and go into battle all in a 24 hour period.

I also like Fires7orms idea about living-it-up but if you do that and spend all the money you have and probably make fake checks your family will be left to deal with it. So what good really came out of it?

See I would want to leave this world knowing that I spent my last day filled with love; maybe even do something I've been thinking about doing with Kate for a long time... but never found the courage to do.

Here's a neat quote from a movie (also a book -- amazing story, you NEED to check either of them out) called "Tuesday's With Morrie".

"When you learn how to die, you know how to live."

That may or may not be completely accurate, and may sound confusing, but I'll explain it a little.  When you finally learn and accept that you are dying, and there's nothing you can do about it (whether it is when you are actually dying, or if it's just during your life sometime), that's when you learn how to go about life -- don't worry about death, it happens to everyone.

Anyway, anyone and everyone should check this movie out -- or read the book.  It's changed both me and how I think about things.

we had to read tuesdays with morrie for our freshman year in college, it was ok but i've read better books i think.

to be 100% honest, i'm not a person who can live with disappointment very much, i'd probably commit suicide and skip the 24 hours of sheer horror leading up to death, honestly.

I would take advantage of every last second. I would fill out many cruel ambitions that I possess that I wasn't allowed to do before because I had too much time ahead of me and I would have to pay the consequences. I'm not afraid of dying, the 24 hours to go thing would be like some sort of party, it would be terrifying for just about everyone else but I wouldn't care, it's not like I'm (and them as well? I don't know...) going to exist in 24 hours anyway.
