Seriously. Why is it that once I stop posting for a few days or so... the whole forum dies? For your information, just because I don't post in a thread doesn't mean people aren't reading it. And why is it I'm the only one talking? Do you think it's because I want to or something? Are you kidding, I'd rather do anything else other than create multiple threads over the entire forum to try to drum up posts.
And staff -- come on! Once we start getting to know each other better, I'm sure regular users will post threads on their own, but until then, why not every Staff member post about one thread a week on here at the least? Please?
All in all, I just think it's silly that no one wants to go out on a limb with new information they've found about anything, their opinions on things, things that are happening in their life, and post a thread about it. THAT'S WHAT FORUMS ARE FOR -- to build a tightly-knit community where we know things about eachother, and are eager to "visit the boards" to talk to eachother.
I know it's kinda disconcerting to pop up the forum, see there hasn't been a new post in one section since Sept. 29, or hasn't been a post in the Off-Topic for 5 days, but you just gotta get through it! Everyone else who visits sees that as well, and figures, "well, since no one else is posting, why should I?". Something needs to be done, or I fear the forum may very well die.
I've been working...hard (multiple stories, school, the site, and some other unannounced projects) for the last week. Besides, we really don't have that much to talk about in the Halo-verse.
I am surprised that nothing came up for Cory Lidle though. I'm sure I am not the only baseball fan here (Cubs and Red Sox). Even for non-fans, I'm surprised.

Haha, you're right about that LoneRanger. But in all honesty I don't have much to post YET. But once my three new Master Chief action figures come I'll tell you. And once I'm done rereading the HGN for the nth time and have nitpicked at everything, I'll tell you. And as soon as my scanner is fixed, and I scan on my fan art, you'll know. And I could continue. So there's not much to worry about, I'm sure it's just a short period where people are either busy or haven't had a Halo related breakthrough yet.
*Shakes head* I'm not talking about posting Halo-related things here guys. Just ANYTHING. That's what the Lounge is for (Off-topic -- Off-Halo).
In fact, I could care less about Halo right now (ZOMG, i r heretic!!1!). My main focus now is Gears of War. In fact, I'll be attending the "After Hours" event at my local Gamestop (it's happening at Gamestop and EBGames' all around the country) this Saturday at 9:00 pm - 10:00 pm. Other than a free hour long presentation, and free schwag, there are some hints of Gears Multiplayer demos!
I'm freaking out about it right now. Probably either call the Gamestop Thursday or Friday, or just go there and check and see if they have promotional posters for the After Hours event. Either way, if my local store is having it, I'm going.
