..I don't know, maybe it's just that it seems so far off, or maybe I"m not as big as a fan as I may seem, but I just can't really get too excited for Halo 3 _at_this_point_. Not to say I will never get excited for it (teh duh!), it's just that I'm not at this point. Gears of War and GoO are the only two big things I'm excited about right now (just seen Gears in action -- it IS the next Halo, believe me. Should be what Halo 2 was supposed to be in terms of being on this planet under siege).
So, what is YOUR opinion on it? Halo 2 let a lot of people down in some regards, and they learned to not completely trust all the hype, so their expectations for something wouldn't be sky-high. Will Halo 3 be the same? Or will Bungie listen to the fans' problems with Halo 2 and fix them?
I got really excited for Halo 2, but i haven't been terribly excited with Halo 3, probably because I don't own an x-box anymore and their are other Halo things coming out to look at. I am kinda excited about Armed Assault though....I've been waiting for that for a year and a half now :)
Not really. The hype made things look so much better then they really were with Halo 2. Bungie's hype machine just isn't so appealing anymore. Having them drop stupid, little hints here and there and trying glean information from them isn't my cup of tea. I just try and ignore it until some tangible info is released, or when the game is actually released.
