Halo 1, 343GS Egg?

A week ago, I was playing with Fly cam in the level 343GS, I deside to get a picture of Jenkins helmet data chip (the chip that the video of them being attacked by the flood).
As I zoom in on it, I notice a small picture/drawing. I checked around a few sites and none of them said anything about this. Possably an egg, or an I just seeing things?




If this is old or has been posted somewhere else, please send me a link to the site/post.

Hum... Interesting... To the best of my knowledge I don't think this has ever been found (then again the go-to person for this kind of thing is LoneRanger 2.5) but to me it do not look like anthing special.

To me, it appears to be a screw or something of that nature. The thing that I would like to see more clearly (if possible?) would be the text above and below the "small picture/drawing."

Well, the fact that it says "DO NOT EAT" makes it seem more like an egg to me. I'll go and contact LoneRanger 2.5 and see if he knows anything about this oddity. I'll get back to you in a few days with what we have found.

Yep, she's an egg. I decided to do some snooping around HBO's forum and I came across this forum post. If you look here Mr' Wu himself states that it is infact an egg.

The egg was originally found by c0ld vengeance. But nice work finding it on your own. Even if it was by what wu and most of the guys of that thread call "cheating."

Wait..so I'm thinking we should give credit to c0ld though.  Since he found it originally, he should get the credit.  Now maybe we can use Firestorm's pictures, and give him credit for those, but if you're planning on putting it on the site, refrain from saying Firestorm was the first that found it.  We should probably avoid any big "war" over an egg.


[EDIT]:  Since it says "M4 Field Disc", should it be added to the site in like the Field Equipment pages?  Strangely though, there seems to be an "M7 Field Disc".  I think it shoud be switched.
