Microsoft gave Halogen the boot. Per "IP Infringements"

3 years of work, a beta verson being sent out at the end of this month, and MS says "No more mod for you!"

Wow, this realy, Realy sucks!

I was looking forward to a RTS Halo game.

Peronally, no; but I can see why it was shut down. There are just some things that pass that certain line where a company feels uncomfortable. And making an entirely new game is one of those things.


I'm not completely heartless, I think if something was happening like this they should have done what they felt right before three years was put into it. It really sucks, and I'm sure there would be no fuss about it if it was an RTS mod of Halo. I don't know though.


My vote -- no.
