Who watches this show, anyone? Pretty interesting if you ask me -- season premiere was amazing how they meshed subjects like the Holocaust and suicide bombings into the show (not referencing, just basically acting them out -- hard to explain). Actually, ratings and numbers wise, it's considered the "King of all Sci-Fi" right now. What do you think, provided you watch it?
In fact, tonight on G4, Attack of the Show, they're having a discussion about this very topic on AOTS (in "The Loop"). I'm tuning in, just to see who agrees with me.
being king of all sci-fi isn't all that great, at least in my opinion. I do think it is an excellent show however, probably one of the best if not the best show in terms of quality of acting, effects, and plot. (i love the music too)
I love the show, but if you miss an episode it gets confusing, i missed two during season 2 and was totally lost. I still havent figured out why they left Kobol
I've only seen the BSG miniseries and about half of season one, and I've never seen an episode of Lost, but I've been tuning into this new show called "Heroes" it's a doozy. Best show I've ever seen.
Lost is just amazing. If you like deep story lines (which is almost required as a Halo fan), then you'll love the show.
I've seen Heroes, but felt it was fairly forgettable. I guess I just need time to settle in to it, in a quiet room...before the Surround Sound is turned on.
And I tried watching FireFly, but I couldn't get into it either.

Lost just seems so convoluted and wrapped up in itself. Really a big turn off for me. It might have a "deep storyline", but the major complaint about the series is if you miss one or two episodes (or even specific scenes!), you're "Lost" for many episodes to come, if not the entire season (that was a quote from a journalist, not just my own opinion).
Battlestar Gallactica, on the other hand, is what I consider to be a "pick up and play" (or watch...) kinda TV show. You don't need to know what's happened in every episode to figure out what the hell is going on in an episode you plop down to watch. That's one of its many compliments, actually. That's why I never liked Lost.
I'm not that into those shows... truth be told; the only shows I watch now-a-days (and I never miss 'em) are Smallville and Supernatural.

BSG Season 3 is just starting to get interesting, not much action going on so far. I liked seasons one and two. In fact I have 1 and 2.0 on dvd. I haven't gotten around to picking up 2.5 yet, I guess part of me is just pissed at having to pay twice to get the whole season.
And if you haven't seen the news, Eric Nylund is going to be doing a comic about the first Cylon war. It looks pretty sweet, but it isn't scheduled to come out until next March. You can link to an interview about it off his blog here.
